Nothing much

Hard to believe that July is almost over!!
my folks came last week for a few days, did the Yellowstone thing and had a wonderful time hang in out, doing home improvement, and playing with the 2 Maddie's!

Faith in the medical system.

About 2 months ago i had foot surgery on my left heal!
i have horrible feet as it was put to me, hammer toes, high arch, bone spurs, ect. made me feel great. i had been having problems for over a year and i just couldn't take it anymore.
i had a done spur in my heal that was the size of a date!
i know!!! ouch! the surgery went well and i am on the mend and my orthodics are working wonders. they said a normal person with my feet wouldn't of had these problem until the age or 40-45, i guess that tells me something doesn't it!!
I guess i am paying for all the crazy stuff i did as a kid! kicking Haley't butt and breaking my big toe didn't help i bet.
anyway back to my point- i corbraed my old insurance from Targhee, $800!
i kept getting these statement saying my insurance will only cover a certain amount, leaving the rest up to me.
The Explanation read this-this charge exceeds the reasonable and customary allowance under the plan.
Ok- to me this means i am getting over charged. some places write these charges off, which is great! but the actaul small doctors office i went to did not.
I was left with over a 600 bill not to mention what i had already paid out of pocket 1250 to hit my major medical plan, the surgical center fees, and a 300 surgery desposit, and the 800 to cobra my insurance.
i know it was adding up. and i was really upset about this 600 coming due.
My Doctor- waived all remaing fees.
I got the call yesterday that said i had a balance of 0.00! i still have a few hundred left to pay to the surgical center but it felt awesome to finally come out ok with insurance. Only thanks to the kindness of my doctor, none to insurance company. but at least for the first time i met a doctor who cared and actually did something about it.
I am going to write him a thank you letter and tell him that he has restored my faith in the medical profession!

stop- WHO

I find myself very amused by Montana, it is even funnier than Idaho and that is saying something.
A few things- all over town and around montana there are intersections with no STOP signs posted.
i was confused. how can 4 raods come together and no one be promted to stop or at least YEILD.
Everyone just kinds bust through them with no worry or concern about a possible accident waiting to happen.
Als0- all along downtown you can take you dog anywhere! outside of stores there are bowls of water, marked PUPPY PUNCH, and 2 days ago while walking maddie a local store owner left a jar of treats just sitting on the side-walk. Maddie loves it.

bad night!

i know it may seem like maddie is baby, who am i kidding she is!
she got sick last night. we had a long night going outside, she will get embarrassed if i tell you but use your imagination.
poor little girl, she went to the vet this morning and she drank some bad water!
next to our house we have a nice park, but there is some standing water ponds in the tall grass next to it. she swims all the time and there is no stopping her when she gets the itch to cool herself down.
i feel her, it must me hot when your covered with fur.
don't worry she will be find but we are both excusted from the long night.

Alison and i stopped by the bozman beach today, this town keeps getting cooler everyday. i have never seen so many parks and now we have a beach. i also went to the farmer's market for the first time and i am now hooked.

Worst Blogger!

I have to say I am the worst blogger in the world!!!
i have been inspired, to all my blogging friends-thank you for being so great on keeping me updated with your life and now i will attempt to do the same.
and i do mean Attempt.
I find myself with actual time now, so I will hopefully enjoy it more this time around.
so since September, which was my last post.... we've been busy.
John, Maddie and I have move to Montana! yes big sky country! Bozeman! and i am loving it.
there is so much to do and there is a Target right down the street. oh yeah, we bought a house.
nothing much but it is ours, we will hopefully be able to move up in a few years but it is great right now. i am tiling and painting and maddie is loving her fenced in back yard. she is well know around the neighboor, well know as the "FASTEST DOG"! i think everyone is jealous.
There is tons of dogs here, at least one out of ten are named Maddie, too. you either name your dog after a river or a mountain range when you are from montana. john and i did not know this in Idaho when we named her??? so i now call her buggie, boodles, flash, whatever. she has adapted well.

we have the 3rd (and final) of john's sibling, Drew living with us for a few months. He has been wondering.
FOR REAL!

John is landscaping and i am working for a alternative news paper!

more later- abs
